Brawl Stars is currently one of the best games available in the gaming world.

It has got a broad audience as well.

When a player starts to play Brawl Stars, one of the most common questions that comes into the mind of the player is regarding the data usage of the game.

So, how much Internet data does Brawl Stars actually use?

The average internet data usage of Brawl Stars is around 20-25 MB per hour. At times, it is slightly higher but stays under 30 MB.

The data usage of most of the game modes in Brawl Stars is almost the same, but the showdown mode's data usage is slightly higher.

In this article, I've answered this question in more detail.

I've also answered another related question regarding the data usage of the game that often comes to the player's mind.

So, without any further ado, let's dive right into it!

How much internet data does Brawl Stars use?

I did some research to find out the actual data usage of Brawl Stars.

At first, I installed the Brawl Stars on different devices.

After that, I played the game for one hour at a stretch on all the devices.

After doing so, I found that the data usage per hour of Brawl Stars ranged between 20-30 MB on the different devices.

However, in most of the devices, the data usage was around 22 MB.

Therefore, we can conclude that if a player plays Brawl Stars for one hour, the amount of data used would be around 22 MB.

If we look into it more closely, we can derive the weekly and monthly data usage from it, as well.

If one plays Brawl Stars for one hour every day in a week, the internet data used would be around 154 MB in one week.

Similarly, if one plays Brawl Stars for one hour every day in a month, the total internet data used would be around 660 MB.

Now, let's talk about the data usage of each game mode in Brawl Stars.

While doing the data usage test, I found out that most of the game modes used almost the same amount of data.

But, the Showdown game mode's data usage was found out to be slightly more.

Normally, the data usage of one match of most of the game modes except the Showdown mode is around 3 MB.

And, the Showdown mode uses around 3-5 MB of data per match.

Now, to help you figure out the total internet data used by Brawl Stars on your device, I've prepared a table that contains everything you need!

I've also done the math required so that you can easily figure out the numbers you need.

Following is the table:

Playtime per day Data usage per day Data usage per week Data usage per month
1 hour 22 MB 154 MB 660 MB
2 hours 44 MB 308 MB 1.28 GB
3 hours 66 MB 462 MB 1.93 GB
4 hours 88 MB 616 MB 2.57 GB
5 hours 110 MB 770 MB 3.22 GB
6 hours 132 MB 924 MB 3.85 GB
7 hours 154 MB 1.05 GB 4.51 GB

Note: The data usage by Brawl Stars per hour has been taken as 22 MB in the above table.

Is the data usage of Brawl Stars too high?

Compared to other online multiplayer games in the market, Brawl stars relatively uses a lesser amount of data (around 22 MB) per hour.

At the same time, it also provides a decent gaming experience with numerous brawlers, game modes, and maps!
