In Clash of Clans, X-bows are one of the most important defenses in any base.
There are currently 12 levels available for this defense.
Moreover, it takes quite a long time to max an X-bow.
Often, most players forget about the amount of gold required to build or upgrade an X-bow and their corresponding upgrade time.
To solve that issue, I've decided to come up with this article!
In this article, I've listed the upgrade cost of X-bows along with the upgrade time.
I've done all the math required in this article so that you don't have to!

X-Bow Upgrade Cost and Upgrade Time in Clash of Clans
I've organized the entire data in a table.
Moreover, to make sure that everything is easy to read and understand, I've also written the entire data in an organized manner in text.
The following table displays the upgrade cost and the corresponding upgrade time of X-bows in Clash of Clans:

The data in the above table can be interpreted as:
- To build an X-bow, you need 1,000,000 gold. And, it'll take 12 hours to complete building a level 1 X-bow.
- To upgrade a level 1 X-bow to level 2, you'll require 1,200,000 gold. The upgrade takes 1 day to complete.
- Upgrading a level 2 X-bow to level 3 requires 2,400,000 gold and the upgrade will take 2 days to complete.
- To upgrade a level 3 X-bow to level 4, you will need 2,500,000 gold and the upgrade gets completed in 3 days.
- Upgrading a level 4 X-bow to level 5 requires 3,900,000 gold, and the upgrade takes 3 days 12 hours to complete.
- To upgrade a level 5 X-bow to level 6, you will require 5,000,000 gold. In 4 days, the upgrade gets completed.
- To upgrade a level 6 X-bow to level 7, you need 6,000,000 gold. The upgrade will complete in 4 days 12 hours.
- Upgrading a level 7 X-bow to level 8 requires 7,000,000 gold and the upgrade takes 5 days to complete.
- Upgrading a level 8 X-bow to level 9 will require 9,000,000 gold and the upgrade will complete in 7 days.
- To upgrade your X-bow from level 9 to 10, you require 9,500,000 gold and 7 days 6 hours of time.
- Upgrading X-bow from level 10 to 11 requires 10,000,000 gold and 7 days 12 hours time.
- To max out your X-bow by upgrading from level 11 to 12, you will require 21,500,000 gold and 15 days 12 hours of time!

To upgrade the X-bows faster in the game in any Town Hall, you can use farming attack strategies to arrange for the required amount of gold.
