Currently, there are eighteen levels available for this building.
It is quite common for players to forget about the upgrade cost of Barracks and their corresponding upgrade time.

In this article, I've listed the upgrade cost, and upgrade time of Barracks in Clash of Clans.
I've done all the math required so that you don't have to!

Moreover, to make sure that everything is easy to read and understand, I've also written the data in text in an organized manner.
The following table displays the upgrade cost, and upgrade time of Barracks in the game:

The data in the above table can be interpreted as:
- You'll require 100 elixir to build a level 1 Barracks. It will be built in 10 seconds.
- To upgrade a level 1 Barracks to level 2, you'll need 500 elixir. The upgrade gets completed in 15 seconds.
- Upgrading a level 2 Barracks to level 3 requires 2,500 elixir. And, the upgrade takes 2 minutes to complete.
- To upgrade a Barracks from level 3 to level 4, you'll require 5,000 elixir. The upgrade will take 30 minutes to complete.
- Upgrading a Barracks from level 4 to level 5 will require 20,000 elixir. And, the upgrade gets completed in 2 hours.
- To upgrade a Barracks from level 5 to level 6, you'll require 120,000 elixir. The upgrade will take 4 hours to complete.
- Upgrading a Barracks from level 6 to level 7 requires 270,000 elixir. And, the upgrade gets completed in 6 hours.
- To upgrade a Barracks from level 7 to level 8, you'll require 600,000 elixir. The upgrade will take 12 hours to complete.
- Upgrading a Barracks from level 8 to level 9 requires 1,000,000 elixir. And, the upgrade gets completed in 1 day.
- To upgrade a Barracks from level 9 to level 10, you'll require 1,400,000 elixir. The upgrade will take 1 day 12 hours to complete.
- Upgrading a Barracks from level 10 to level 11 requires 2,600,000 elixir. And, the upgrade gets completed in 2 days.
- To upgrade a Barracks from level 11 to level 12, you'll require 3,700,000 elixir. The upgrade will take 4 days to complete.
- Upgrading a Barracks from level 12 to level 13 requires 6,000,000 elixir. And, the upgrade gets completed in 5 days.
- To upgrade a Barracks from level 13 to level 14, you'll require 7,000,000 elixir. The upgrade will take 7 days to complete.
- Upgrading a Barracks from level 14 to level 15 requires 9,000,000 elixir. And, the upgrade gets completed in 7 days 4 hours.
- To upgrade a Barracks from level 15 to level 16, you'll require 11,000,000 elixir. The upgrade will take 8 days to complete.
- Upgrading a Barracks from level 16 to level 17 requires 12,600,000 elixir. And, the upgrade gets completed in 9 days.
- To max out your Barracks by upgrading it from level 17 to level 18, you will need 15,000,000 elixir and 11 days of time!
