In this article, I've listed the EXACT upgrade cost, and upgrade time of Minion in Clash of Clans.
I did all the required math so that you don't have to!

Minion Upgrade Cost and Upgrade Time in Clash of Clans
All the data regarding the upgrade cost and time of Minion is listed in the table given below.
I've also written the data in text form so that it is easy to read and understand.
Following is the required table:

The data in the above table can also be interpreted as:
- To upgrade a Minion from level 1 to level 2, you'll need 1,000 dark elixir. The upgrade takes 6 hours.
- Upgrading a level 2 Minion to level 3 requires 2,500 dark elixir. The upgrade gets completed in 8 hours.
- To upgrade a Minion from level 3 to level 4, you'll need 5,000 dark elixir. The upgrade will take 12 hours.
- Upgrading a level 4 Minion to level 5 requires 10,000 dark elixir. The upgrade gets completed in 1 day.
- To upgrade a Minion from level 5 to level 6, you'll need 15,000 dark elixir. The upgrade will take 1 day 12 hours.
- Upgrading a level 6 Minion to level 7 requires 31,500 dark elixir. The upgrade gets completed in 1 day 18 hours.
- To upgrade a Minion from level 7 to level 8, you'll need 47,500 dark elixir. The upgrade will take 2 days 12 hours.
- Upgrading a level 8 Minion to level 9 requires 75,000 dark elixir. The upgrade gets completed in 3 days 12 hours.
- To upgrade a Minion from level 9 to level 10, you'll need 100,000 dark elixir. The upgrade will take 5 days.
- Upgrading a level 10 Minion to level 11 requires 115,000 dark elixir. The upgrade gets completed in 5 days 12 hours.
- To upgrade a Minion from level 11 to level 12, you'll need 160,000 dark elixir. The upgrade will take 6 days 12 hours.
- Upgrading a level 12 Minion to level 13 requires 255,000 dark elixir. The upgrade gets completed in 14 days.
