Scattershot is one of the most popular and powerful defenses in Clash of Clans.
Currently, there are six levels available for this defense.
And, it takes quite a lot of time for a player to upgrade it as the gold cost is high and the upgrade takes a week or more than a week to complete.
It is quite common for players to forget about the upgrade cost of Scattershot and their corresponding upgrade time.
To solve that issue, I've come up with this article!

I've done all the math required so that you don't have to!

Scattershot Upgrade Cost and Upgrade Time in Clash of Clans
I've organized the entire data in a table.
Moreover, to make sure that everything is easy to read and understand, I've also written the data in text in an organized manner.
The following table displays the upgrade cost, and upgrade time of Scattershot in the game:

The data in the above table can be interpreted as:
- You'll require 8,000,000 gold to build a level 1 Scattershot. It will be built in 7 days.
- To upgrade a level 1 Scattershot to level 2, you'll need 9,000,000 gold. The upgrade gets completed in 8 days.
- Upgrading a level 2 Scattershot to level 3 requires 11,000,000 gold. And, the upgrade takes 8 days 12 hours to complete.
- To upgrade a Scattershot from level 3 to level 4, you'll require 11,500,000 gold. The upgrade will take 8 days 18 hours to complete.
- Upgrading a Scattershot from level 4 to level 5 will require 12,000,000 gold. And, the upgrade gets completed in 9 days.
- To max out your Scattershot by upgrading it from level 5 to level 6, you will need 22,500,000 gold and 15 days 18 hours of time!
