Wall is one of the most important defenses in Clash of Clans.
Currently, there are 19 levels available for this defense.
It is quite common for players to forget about the upgrade cost of Wall and their corresponding upgrade time.

In this article, I've listed the upgrade cost, and upgrade time of Wall in Clash of Clans.
I've done all the math required so that you don't have to!

The data in the above table can be interpreted as:
- You'll require 0 gold to build a level 1 Wall. It will be built instantly.
- To upgrade a Wall from level 1 to level 2, you'll need 1,000 gold. The upgrade is instant.
- Upgrading a Wall from level 2 to level 3 requires 5,000 gold. And, the upgrade is instant.
- To upgrade a Wall from level 3 to level 4, you'll require 10,000 gold. The upgrade is instant.
- Upgrading a Wall from level 4 to level 5 will require 20,000 gold. And, the upgrade is instant.
- To upgrade a Wall from level 5 to level 6, you'll require 30,000 gold. The upgrade is instant.
- Upgrading a Wall from level 6 to level 7 requires 50,000 gold. And, the upgrade is instant.
- To upgrade a Wall from level 7 to level 8, you'll require 75,000 gold. The upgrade is instant.
- Upgrading a Wall from level 8 to level 9 requires 100,000 gold. And, the upgrade is instant.
- To upgrade a Wall from level 9 to level 10, you'll require 200,000 gold. The upgrade is instant.
- Upgrading a Wall from level 10 to level 11 requires 500,000 gold. And, the upgrade is instant.
- To upgrade a Wall from level 11 to level 12, you'll require 1,000,000 gold. The upgrade is instant.
- Upgrading a Wall from level 12 to level 13 requires 1,500,000 gold. And, the upgrade is instant.
- To upgrade a Wall from level 13 to level 14, you'll require 2,000,000 gold. The upgrade is instant.
- Upgrading a Wall from level 14 to level 15 requires 3,000,000 gold. And, the upgrade is instant.
- To upgrade a Wall from level 15 to level 16, you'll require 4,000,000 gold. The upgrade is instant.
- Upgrading a Wall from level 16 to level 17 requires 5,000,000 gold. And, the upgrade is instant.
- To upgrade your Wall from level 17 to level 18, you will need 7,000,000 gold. The upgrade is instant!
- Upgrading a Wall from level 18 to 19 will require 10,000,000 gold, and the upgrade is instant!
Note: After Wall level 4, you can upgrade your walls using elixir too! (the cost remains the same as it is when upgrading using gold).
