When a player starts playing the game, the player has a lot of questions.
One of the most common questions that come to the players' minds is regarding the internet data usage of Among Us.
So, how much internet data does Among Us use?
On average, Among Us uses around 15-30 MB of internet data per hour, which is quite low compared to other games with a similar player base!
Even though the internet data usage of Among Us varies at times, it generally does not go above 40 MB per hour.

I did some research to find the actual internet data usage of Among Us.
The research is quite similar to the one that I did to find the data usage of Brawl Stars.
Firstly, I installed Among Us on different devices.
After that, I played the game for one hour at a stretch on each of the devices.
Then, I monitored the data usage of the game in each of the devices in one hour.
After doing so, I found that the data usage of Among Us ranged between 15 to 30 MB per hour on the different devices.
But, in the majority of the devices, the data used by the game in one hour was around 17 MB.
Thereby, we can conclude that the data usage of Among Us is around 17 MB per hour.
From the data usage per hour of the game, we can also find out the weekly or monthly data usage!
If one plays Among Us for one hour every day in one week, the total internet data used in one week would be around 119 MB.
Similarly, if one plays the game for one hour every day in one month, the internet data used would be around 510 MB in one month.
Now, what is the internet data usage per match in Among Us?
Each match in Among Us consumes around 3-6 MB of internet data.
While doing the research, I found out that each match in Among Us consumed around 4.8 MB of internet data.
Although the data usage per match might fluctuate, it generally lies in the range of 3-6 MB of internet data.

Does Among Us use a LOT of internet data?
Compared to other games with a similar player base, Among Us uses very less internet data per hour.
